Our story
As Silivri Canları, we started our journey during September 2015, and we are officially legalized as Silivri Canları Second Life Angels Association after three years at 2018.
The formation we started by reaching out to a few people at first continued with the establishment of the Silivri Canları Life Garden for rescued stars of our garden.
Currently, we have more than 400 dogs, 200 cats and countless stray animals seeking our help in the streets, from puppies to the elderly, from the disabled, with hereditary diseases. These days 1 veterinary technician and 3 caregivers work for 24/7 to make sure all animals are safe and happy. We have different sections for each dog group, decided according to the general condition of the dogs.
Our vision
Our aim is to rescue dogs in need ' from the streets and shelters of Istanbul and all Turkey. We try our best to make them forget the bad conditions they lived in, to regain their health and to offer a living space where they will live in peace in their second life.
We consume more than 500 packs of 15kg dog food, 50 packs of 15 kg of cat food, at least 50 boxes of canned food, 20 packs of 15 kg of dog food monthly.
